Assalamualaikum.

---
Ya Allah
minggu ini yang getir
permudahkanlah urusanku dan sahabat-sahabatku
Amin
---
I'll stop posting for a while. Sekian.

Jual Ikan
Assalamualaikum.
Malas la pulak nak mengumpat.
Tapi entahlah. I just don't understand why.
You're just so selfish, you know.

In This Life
Assalamualaikum.
I'll never get tired of posting if it's about you.
I just can't wait to see you again.
I wish you'd just know how much I miss you.
There is never a day without you in my heart.
I'll never forget to say your name in my prayers.
I'm amazed at how strong you can be.
I know you believe in Him.
I love you.
PS: *takde kena mengena dgn post ni* tersenyum tersipu-sipu bila terbaca ayat "salam sayang". sigh. should've got over this a long time ago. get real la nina... dush dush!

How to Break a Heart
Assalamualaikum.
It's weird how you can change a person's perception on you for the rest of his/her life just because you want the problems between you and him/her to be solved.
It's weird how you can love/adore someone so much today, and loathe him/her once you get to know who that person really is.
It's weird how you try to care about a person's feelings when he/she doesn't care at all about your existence.
It's weird how you try to share something with another person when in the end the only thing he/she says is "I already know that".
It's weird how a person never expresses his/her gratitude to you for what you've done just because he/she feels he/she is "not the kind of person who says thank you".
It's weird how you try so hard to understand a person but he/she doesn't want you to understand him/her.
It's weird how you try your hardest not to yell at someone and end up crying quietly behind him/her just because you don't want to hurt him/her.
It's weird how someone thinks that he/she is always right just because he/she thinks that he/she is mature enough.
It's weird how someone would laugh his/her heart out loud in your face and make fun of you whenever you are embarrased and would keep a serious face to warn you not to say a word if he/she is the one who's embarrased.
It's weird how a person can tell you what to do and what not to do when he/she doesn't have an idea what he/she is talking about.
It's weird when you love a person and end up hating him/her just because he/she doesn't love you back.
It's weird how a person condemns others but never takes any lesson from their mistakes.
I'm taking all that I learned from you
I'll make it something I'll never do
I can't be who you are
You taught me how to break a heart
PS: cuma random thoughts. whatever.

What About Now
Assalamualaikum.
I was always a follower and never a leader. I mean, like, always. Forever.
One of the reasons I don't lead people is because I know I'll never be good enough to do so.
But today I'm glad that I just did, even though I made an awful lot of mistakes.
...What about now?
What about today?
PS: I'm soooo in love with Westlife's new album 'Where We Are'

"Do you have a boyfriend?"
Assalamualaikum.
It was peer reviewing time in English 117 class this morning. We had groups of three. I was sitting with a Chinese guy and a Korean girl. My two groupmates and I had finished our discussion about the essays when one of them shot us (me and the Chinese) this odd question:
"Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?" she asked nonchalantly.
I blinked. "Sorry?"
She looked at me. "Do you have a boyfriend?"
"Erm." I hesitated for a while. "Erm, no, I don’t."
She was quiet for a moment. "Oh."
"Um, well—" I said, thinking of a reason to give why I ‘don’t have a boyfriend’. (hint: sebab latar belakang family, budaya dan agama diorang adalah lain dari aku)
Ah, sudah. Nak cakap apa ni? Tak kan nak cakap, Islam tak bagi? Nanti apa pulak dia fikir…
"—I don’t have a boyfriend because my religion does not, erm, encourage the followers to do so," I said, finishing off my explanation, choosing a ‘safer’ reason to give (I guess).
Suddenly, she looked excited. She stopped rocking her chair back and forth and moved her body closer to the table. "Really? Your religion? What is your religion?"
Lagi sekali aku terkebil-kebil sekejap.
Aku kerut dahi. Laa. Minah ni tak tahu ke? Aku pakai tudung ni, takkan dia tak tahu aku orang Islam?
But then, I spontaneously start to think about it.
Ya Allah. Dia memang betul-betul tak tahu.
"Well, I’m a Muslim, so my religion is Islam," I replied calmly.
"Oh!"
"And that’s why I’m wearing this, you know," I continued, shifting my tudung slightly.
"Oh! I see."
"Well, how about you? Are you a Christian?" I asked her.
"Yeah, I am a Christian," she replied.
I moved my attention to the Chinese guy. "How about you? What is your religion?"
He shrugged. "Well…"
Aku pandang dia dengan penuh harapan.
"…I don’t really hold on to any religion, you know."
"Oh! You’re the kind of person who doesn’t really believe in this kind of thing," the Korean butted in.
"Yeah," the Chinese said and laughed nervously. And the Korean was laughing, too.
Aku terkebil lagi sekali.
"Um, have you heard about the Atheists?" I asked him.
"Yeah, they’re the people who don’t believe in the existence of God," he answered.
"Well... you haven’t reached to that level yet, have you?"
"Um, well... *mengelak* you know, in China, most people are Buddhists. But everyone doesn't really go to, you know..."
"Temple?"
"Yeah, temple, church... places like that," he said.
"Where do you go to? I mean, do Muslims have a place like church or temple?" the Korean asked.
Lagi sekali, aku terkebil.
"Muslims have mosques," I repled, smiling. "Do you know mosques? It's a place where-"
"-Okay, I guess all of you have a lot to talk about, and you can still continue discussing... but you know, some of you will have other classes to go to after this."
Ceh, tak sempat nak berceramah panjang lagi, Aaron Spooner (instructor kelas ni) dah menyampuk. Semua orang dengan pantas terus bangun dan kemas barang masing-masing.
Masa tengah mengemas barang-barang... tangan aku rasa sejuk. Kaki rasa macam menggigil.
Rupanya... ramai lagi yang tak tahu.
Ya. Mereka memang tidak mengetahui.
Jadi... tugas siapa sekarang?
PS:
"Where are you from?"
"Me? I'm from Malaysia."
"Oh! I've been to Malaysia before. You know, I really like the statue..."
"Statue? Do you mean the tower? The Twin Towers?"
"No, no, it's not a tower. It's a statue... it's an animal statue."
Hah? Minah ni maksudkan Tugu Negara ke? Tapi Tugu Negara tu kan orang?
"The statue is something like this..." *draws something on the paper*
*Raising an eyebrow* "Do you mean a Lion statue?"
"Yes! A lion statue! I really love going there."
*Sourly* "Well, I think you're referring to Singapore."
*Terdiam* "Oh. I'm sorry."
PS2: Abaikanlah semua kesalahan ayat dan grammar dan sebagainya. Haha.
